OC Residents take the first step to prevent overwatering

After receiving a tip from me, Orange County residents made an effort to cut down the number of days they watered their lawn by just 1 day per week. Some residents even took an extra step to be more efficient by creating a custom watering schedule for their lawns.

Kien Le from Westminster said, “I used to water my lawn every day, but I didn’t realize it didn’t need so much water. My neighbors used to complain that I was overwatering and wasting water. Now I only water 3 days a week and my lawn looks great.”

Michael Nguyen from Garden Grove also mentioned how easy it was for him to adjust his sprinklers. “It took no time at all!”

What do you think about these testimonials from your neighbors? Do you feel inspired to reduce watering? We want to hear from you too, so leave a comment below. And if you haven’t had a chance to reduce overwatering, don’t worry! There’s still plenty of time to get on board. Take a minute or two and review my last post on how to create a custom watering schedule to meet the needs of your lawn.

I reduced my front lawn watering to one day a week. The lawn looks yellow and brown but it is still alive. I hope it makes it through the summer.
